#12: Learning Styles

This learning byte focuses on understanding how individuals
differ in their preferred styles when learning a new task

Learning styles gives us a way of describing how people like to learn a new task or take on board new information.

There are no right or wrong styles yet if we can understand each one it enables
us to be aware of the most effective ways we, and those we work with, like to learn.

Think about the people in your team, or those who work around you:

  • How might you describe their preferred style?
  • What might this mean for the way currently learn new tasks?
  • What’s can you do to ensure their preference is accounted for if it isn’t at present?
